Sight Description
The giant world of ice at Werfen, a gigantic system of caves in the Salzburg Tennengebirge, was first discovered at the beginning of the last century. Since then, more and more people have visited these fascinating caves to see the impressive ice sculptures. The cableway, the steepest in Austria, is worth a trip on its own. On top of that there is a free view of a breathtaking panorama of the Salzachtal.
